Mother Earth Refer To Mother Nature

Mother Earth refer to mother nature. As this morning, I was reading the newspaper; the news about earth quack in Indonesia had caught my attention. I suddenly realise that news about nature disaster is really common. Just in this month-April, two earthquakes had already occur. One is in China and the other is in Indonesia. In China, approximately 2000 people die, while 500 people were still missing. Besides that, there is still many cases of naturally disasters such as Tsunami in the year 2004, Flood in Taiwan during the year 2009, earthquake in Haiti last February and volcano eruption which just happen this month. All this incidents had caused many lives. Many people accusing Mother Earth, blaming her for our pain and suffering. But many of us didn’t realise, mother earth is too suffering. She had been crying in pain for the last many decades. So, is not weird that mother earth had decided to choose the barbaric method from stop destroying her.

Human activities such as chopping timber, digging naturally resources, building high-raise building, emitting poisonous gas and many more had created so many pain for our dear mother earth. Although human themselves do aware that their activities had causing adverse effect to the nature, yet they still continue with their evil act. All this is just for the sake of money. There why people always said “money is the root of all evil”. Money will make one greedy, cruel, inconsiderate, self-center, and self-fish. One will slog and do anything to gain money without being able to forseen the upcoming consequences. Money will make a person go overzealous about it and turn one into evil.

Other than that, the improving of technology too had create some vices. The invention of vehicles and machines had many our air to become slack and lax. In addition, the invention of fridge and air-conditional too had cause enough problem for nature. The release of CFC has cause the ozone layer to become thinner allowing dangerous ray such as UV ray to enter earth. Long term exposure to these ray will cause cancer which might lead to dead

Now, the issues is that we as human has been neglecting our obligation in taking care of our earth. Instead of polluting the environment, we should nurture it. We should show our love and concern by stop doing adverse activities to the earth. Furthermore, activities such as Earth Hour too must be thoroughly supported by the people. Government should impose law to protect the environment. Heavier punishments must be meted out to protect our earth from being abuse. This is because we are given the task to protect mother earth, so it is our duty to fullfill it and accomplish it.

Besides that, I as individually would like to make my pledge to dear mother earth.
1. I promise that I will not carrying open burning. Open Burning will cause air pollution such as haze.
2. I pledge to recycle the common household items such as paper, bottle, and tires. I will send the recycle items to recycle center. this can helps to conserve our resources.
3. I promise I willl not litter anyway because I know that it will attract flies and rodents which spread diseases and bring sickness to us. Instead, I will utilize the rubbish bins provided.
4. Lastly , to get to the destination, I will walk or cycle to save the earth therefore less gas will be produced. The other effective way to reduce the amount of carbon dioxide released to air is to practice carpool.

A Festival which i hope my teacher doesn't know yet.

I suddenly thought of this festival because i flip through my sister story book and saw this festival in the book. Well, Diwali is one of the biggest festival of Hindus, celebrated with great enthusiasm and happiness in India. The festival is celebrated for five continuous days, where the third days is celebrated as the main Diwali festival or 'Festival of lights'. Different colorful varieties of fireworks are always associated with this festival. On this auspicious day, people light up diyas and candles all around their house. They perform Laxmi Puja in the evening and seek divine blessings of Goddess of Wealth. The festival od Diwali is never complete without exchange of gifts. People present diwali gifts to all near and dear ones. Wa la finish. =)

The First Experience Blogging

This is first time blogging in my entire 17 years and 7 day of life on earth. To be honest I was lazy in blogging because I hate to be in front of computer, my eye’s hurts when I stare into the bright and shiny LCD. However I had no choice but to do, because it’s part of my school assignment and I strongly do not want to disappoint my teacher. Well, i am suppose to write something about my experience in blogging. Some morning during the English period, my teacher asked us to head to the school computer lab. When we reached the computer lab, she requested all of us to create our own individual blog. Most my classmates were so excited till some even started to use the computer before the teacher allowed us to. Just for your information I was sittin on the last round, so my computer lan’s connection was very poor. I was so piss off because I couldn’t create my own blog. I straggle and finally manage to create a account. On that moment, “ding dong” time for me to go off. So now, here I am in front of my computer typing this post. Tonight is “Chap Go Mei”, wishing all Chinese reading my this post a Happy last day of Chinese New Year. =)
